„Borussia Dortmund triumphs in the first test of the preparation“
The first friendly match of the season preparation ended in a resounding victory for Borussia Dortmund. Facing the DEW21 Dream Team, the Black and Yellows secured a 7-1 win (2-0).
In the first half, Felix Nmecha scored a brace for BVB (5th, Bynoe-Gittens; 7th, Adeyemi). After the break, especially with the young players getting their chance, five more goals followed. Almugera Kabar (64th), Youssoufa Moukoko (76th, 84th, Roggow), Ayman Azhil (78th, Hettwer), and Paris Brunner (89th, Moukoko) all found the back of the net.
The new head coach, Nuri Şahin, implemented a 4-3-3 system in both halves. Absent from the match were the national team players still on vacation and the recovering Ramy Bensebaini (knee injury).
